Actress Thandy Matlaila has been named as the news Brand SA ambassador. The star will for part of the Play Your Part campaign which encourages South Africans to contribute to positive change in the country.
Speaking on the appointment, Thandy expressed her excitement saying in part, “I’m excited to be a part of this; youth motivation and a healthy lifestyle have always been a top priority for me. That’s why I started the #27Dresss initiative 5 years ago where I donate matric farewell dresses to underprivileged matriculants. Partnering up with BrandSA means that through the initiatives that I do, I can reach a larger audience. I’m also looking forward to doing wellness activations with them, 2020 is definitely going to be that year where we’ll be ‘inspiring new ways’ of making South Africa better, for ourselves and those around us. They also have some great programs that I’ve always wanted to be a part of.”
