Brand influencer Tshepi Vundla chats to us about motherhood, lessons learned and how the Purity App has made her journey easier. By Kwanele Mathebula
My first year of motherhood was filled with so many different emotions. It was scary, mind-blowing, amazing and exciting. Even though I hardly slept and didn’t feel like myself, I would do it again. Since becoming a mom, I have learned so much and matured a lot. This has been the most rewarding experience for me.

Motherhood taught me to be patient. I didn’t know that I was able to love a human as much as I love my son (Siba). I have learned to balance my life and career. I am also learning to take my time and do what makes me and my baby happy and comfortable. Motherhood showed me that I am capable of juggling everything and that I’m good with time management.
I wanted to be part of the Purity App campaign because I love helping other parents. Raising a child is hard work, so I am always willing to help anyway I can. Having help makes a difference in one’s life. The Purity App offers a lot of helpful information, and it’s a one-stop-shop. I hope that by working on this campaign, I can expose it to many other parents who will appreciate it as much as I do.

My hopes for my son and niece are that they be genuinely happy. I hope that they will be able to push through with their dreams. I would love for them to be vocal, kind, loving and able to stand up for themselves.
