My love for music started at a young age. When I was eight years old, my older brother introduced me to Motswako rap. I fell in love with it immediately. I love the fact that music is a universal language with the power to change people’s lives. I’m grateful to be doing what I love because my passion has helped me become a multi award-winning musician; I have also evolved into being a creative entrepreneur.
I’m excited about my creative collaboration with Absolut. This is because I’ll be combining my love for music and creativity, which I’ve always wanted to do. I’m glad it’s finally happening. I love the fact that Absolut plays a vital role in creating platforms for other creatives to showcase their work.
We are working hard to host yet another epic festival. The Absolut team and I are looking forward to showcasing unique art installations and musical collaborations. The event also aims to call on all Africans to take part in influencing the world’s perspective on what African creativity is.
People should attend the festival because it is going to be bigger and better. We are going to bridge the gap between the artist and audience. This year we have a lot of great music, art, fashion and photography. Also, some of Africa’s best artists such as D’banj, Sjava and Shane Eagle, will be performing.
I’m looking forward to my performance. I love connecting with my fans, and making sure that they experience music in a new way. I use social media platforms to interact with them by asking what songs they would like me to perform. The festival is going to be a blast!
