1. What kind of person will love your character?
Strong, unapologetic young black women will relate to Zethu. She is a new age feminist and rebel in her own right.
2. Do you have any similarities with Zethu?
We both have strong feminist views. We care deeply about our friends, and are protective of the people we care about.
3. What do you dislike the most about your character?
As an actor, I don’t like judging the character. My job is just to portray her truthfully.
4. What was challenging about the character?
I’m not naturally graceful, so pulling off the character of a professional stage dancer was challenging. But, I didn’t do badly.
5. What did you love most?
I loved her sense of style because I would also like to look like her. Between the face piercings and leather shorts, she looks like a real rock star.

6. What was your greatest challenge about being part of the cast?
Working with great actors was a lovely challenge because it encouraged me to step up my game. They’ve been acting for longer, so I couldn’t let them down. I believe that I rose to the challenge.
7. Which celebrity would you like to see tackle your character?
I was told that the character was written with me in mind, so I naturally only imagine myself playing it.
8. What is your favourite line of dialogue?
“S’nqanda’mathe, jou lekker ding!”
9. Which actor in the production is going to blow people away?
We’re so strong as an ensemble that everyone brings something special to the table.
10. If you could play any other character, who would it be?
Shakes, because he is hilarious.
11. What do you think makes a good scene partner?
An actor who is giving (in performance), even when the camera is not filming them.
12. What lessons did you take from the cast?
Teamwork makes the dream work.
13. What life lessons can people take away from the movie?
Show up for yourself; show up for your dream.
