While Xolani Khumalo fights his legal battles, Moja Love’s Sizok’thola has found a new replacement host – Xolani Maphanga.
As a result of one of his drug busts, the original Sizok’thola host is reportedly now facing charges of murder, robbery and damage to property in connection with the death of an alleged drug dealer named Robert ‘Kicks’ Varrie. This then led to Moja Love and Xolani K going their separate ways.
According to reports, Xolani K is currently out on R20,000 bail after appearing at the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court in Katlehong, Ekurhuleni.
Sharing the news on social media, Moja Love revealed that the show’s third season is set to return in April with Xolani M as its host.
“Xolani is not new to Moja Love’s screens as he currently presents X-Repo and comes with a wealth of experience to deliver this captivating show,” shared the DStv channel in its statement.
Xolani M stated that he has witnessed the impact of drugs on the youth and how it scars their families. “It gives me great honour to contribute to a social justice programme and a show that tackles the scourge of drugs head-on. This is a fight we cannot win alone, so we will be working closely with communities and law enforcement to fight the scourge of drugs in our communities,” noted the new host.

The change in hosts upset quite a few social media users.
One user said, “So you are replacing a friend with a friend, wow.”
Another person commented, “We don’t want the new presenter, thank you.”
While another stated, ‘There’s a point Moja Love is missing here. Jub Jub is the best for Uyajola 9/9, Xolani Maphanga is best for X-Repo, and Xolani Khumalo is best for Sizok’thola. Just bring back Xolani Khumalo, he is the face of that show, and it is not that we are undermining anyone. They are all good at what they do, it is just that we prefer him as the host of this particular show. Don’t give the audience this attitude yahore the channel is bigger than the show host.”
