The two South African late rappers Kiernan Jarryd Forbes who was popularly known as AKA and along with Amapiano rapper Costa Titch have been nominated at the 2023 AFRIMMA, African Muzik Magazine Awards.
The award is one of the biggest award shows in Africa, honoring great musicians in the African music industry. According to the African Muzik Magazine Awards website the award ceremony is set to take place on the 17th of September 2023 in Dallas, Texas.
The Fela In Versace rapper has received one nomination at the award ceremony under the category Best Male Southern Africa while the Big Flexa hitmaker scored three nominations under the category Best Male Southern Africa, Best Collaboration for Shetani and Video of the Year.
Taking to Instagram the managament team of the Super Mega wrote: “Happy Women’s Day fam. Let’s bring it home.”

While the Instagram account of the Amapiano rapper who died in March 2023 is now being managed by his mother, also announced his nomination.
“TITCH GANG LET’S BRING IT HOME ?MR BIG FLEXA TO THE WORLD ?,” read the caption.
Many people flooded the comment section of the two late rapper saying:
One fan commented on AKA’s post saying: “We miss you so much King ? ? and congratulations you deserve this.”
Another social media user said on Costa Titch: “Still wining.”
“The goat ? is still breathing ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” wrote AKA fan.
AKA was killed alongside his friend and celebrity chef Tebello Motsoane Durban on the 10th of February 2023 outside a popular restaurant called Wish, which recently closed down due to the incident that had occurred, hence the permanent closure of the establishment. While Costa Titch collapsed and died died while performing on stage at the Ultra Music Festival at the Nasrec Expo Centre on 11 March 2023.
