AKA’s fans pay tribute with tattoos

Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes gets honoured by his fans who have taken to the tattoo parlour to get inked in honour of the late musician.

The Sim Dope hitmaker was shot dead on February 10th outside Wish restaurant on Florida Road, Durban. The assassination also claimed the life of his friend; celebrity chef Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane.

Following the rapper’s death, people flooded social media with tributes. However, some of the rapper’s fans, The Megacy as he called his fans, went the extra mile by tattooing his name and face on their bodies.

A member of the megacy shared a video of him getting AKA’s name tatted on his arm. Rest in peace Mega ?️?️??#ripakaworldwide,” he captioned the video.

Another megacy member shared their tattoo on twitter saying: “Thank you for the music, Thank you for being so inspiring. I’ll always keep you with me, wherever I go. Love you long time.” @akaworldwide #LongLiveSupaMegaLiveLong” 

A tweep shared his besties tattoo of the late rapper and said: “My best friend from Varsity NASTRONINJA got himself this tattoo of @akaworldwide it’s so clean! #LongLiveSupaMegaLiveLong” 

“Long Live Supa Mega Long Live” said another tweep.
