Internet users were left amused after seeing the level members of the African National Congress were willing to go to, in the quest to campaign for their party.
After the president of the country, Cyril Ramaphosa announced the 29th of May as the election day, many political parties shared their manifestos, soon after and started campaigning for votes.
On X, a social media platform that was previously known as Twitter, pictures of ANC comrades who partook in door to door campaigns left many users in stitches after seeing the extent the some members were willing to go to, in order to get community members on their side.
In the Eastern Cape a comrade was seen carrying a broom while chatting to an old lady at her home.

User @Fedixm shared a post with four pictures, one with the president wiping something on off an old woman’s nose. Another picture shows Minister Gwede Mantashe shaking people’s hands, and a strange one, a comrade helping a young lady wash her clothes by hands.

In one province they visited an old age home to donate vegetables and donated school shoes at a primary school.
Today ANCYL NEC member, Comrade Eugene Manana handed over school shoes to disadvantaged learners of Magogeni Primary School and donated vegetable seeds to Old Age home.
