Having welcomed their latest bundle of joy a few months ago, married couple and social media personalities Andile and Tamia Mpisane shared with their social media followers the inspiration behind their daughter’s name.

The couple already have their first born Miaandy (1) while Andile shares two daughters – Flo (3) and Coco (2) – with his ex, The Masked Singer South Africa detective, Sithelo Shozi.

Taking to Instagram, the two lovebirds announced the arrival of their daughter, Messiah Shauwn Junior Mpisane, who “made a surprise arrival on the 20th of September 2023.”

In the caption of their shared post, Andile wrote, “This little one has filled our hearts with an overwhelming sense of love and happiness, reminding us of the miracles and blessing from the Messiah.”

Andile then explained that the name “Messiah” holds a profound meaning. “In its essence, Messiah represents a chosen one, a saviour, or a deliverer. We have given this name to our beautiful daughter as she entered this world with a purpose – to radiate light, love, and compassion to all those she encounters.”

The reality TV star shares that their daughter has also taken the name of his mother, businesswoman Shauwn Mkhize.

“Shauwn is a symbol of resilience, drive, and determination. With this name, we honour the strength and unwavering spirit that runs through generations in our family,” wrote Andile, who then went on to deliver a special message to their little one.
