Media personality and former Miss South Africa Liesl Laurie-Mthombeni and her husband medical Doctor Musa has received tons of mixed reactions after her video in which she slams the public for paying attention to her “womb”.
The 2015 pageant winner shared a video on Instagram in which she addressed rumours of fans speculating whether or not her and Musa were expecting a baby.
These rumours have been circulating the internet for the longest time now, however despite Liesl previously addressing it in her comments, it has never really come to an end.
Following the recent celebrations in which Musa shared pictures of the pair celebrating his graduation from medical school, fans yet again pointed fingers to her stomach asking whether she was pregnant.
While many of these comments were meant in good spirits Mrs Mthombeni has had enough, as a result putting an end to the rumours once and for all.
In her video an extremely annoyed Liesl said:
“If you are a woman who keeps commenting rubbish on my post saying, ‘she’s pregnant, she’s this, she’s that’, whether I am or not and (and just to be clear, I am not), I feel like you guys want to be seen.
“This culture of wanting to be seen or wanting to be the first person to break other people’s news is not on.”

Following her video, one user with handle @Shadaya_Knight took to X (formerly Twitter) sharing exactly why her things Liesl is delaying the process.
In his post he wrote:
“It’s clear, Dr Musa won’t be a father anytime soon, he’s just going to have to settle for dogs and cats. Liesl is disgusted by the idea of carrying a child for Dr Musa.”
“It’s no surprise though, to anyone who knows female nature, it’s obvious she settled for Dr Musa. All those frequent vacations all over the globe are nothing more than distractions to the real issue – she doesn’t want a child with Dr Musa.”
This was more than enough to annoy radio host and TV personality Andile Ncube. Andile quickly dismissed these comments, asking how the user was able to find joy in highlighting the lives of people he knows nothing about.
Nah boi! This isn’t it. An entire essay on someone’s life you know 0 about and in the most private of matters you find such joy. Come on! https://t.co/R3P4XF5p4d
