The year 2024 seems to be another year of South African excellence.
Following a successful 2023 which saw the Springboks claiming gold at the Rugby World Cup – this year saw Dricus Du Plessis becoming a UFC world Champion, and our soccer boys Bafana Bafana claiming Bronze at this year’s AFCON.
That’s not all, it was also the year the entertainer Trevor Noah hosted the Grammy Awards for a fourth consecutive year, while Joburg-born Tyla struck gold at the event.
More recently mzansi celebrated yet another milestone achievement with media personality Andile Ncube being voted among the 100 most impactful Africans as voted by Ranks Magazine.
Taking to Instagram the publication wrote, praised the media personality writing:

Andile’s contribution into the media space spans over several years. Known for his distinctive voice, he is widely recognised for his work on both radio and television mediums, and is a regular sports presenter who gained favour from sports fans all over the country.
Following the announcement many took to social media celebrating this achievement with him.
One user wrote: “Congratulations… Well deserved. God bless you abundantly Andile.”
SABC Sport broadcaster, Vusiwe Ngcobo: “If not you, then who? Congratulations!”
