Television personality and radio presenter Anele Mdoda has found herself in cloud nine following the successful reception of her film at the Toronto International Film Festival in Canada.
The prominent personality is the executive producer of the film Don’t Lets Go to the Dogs Tonight, a visual adaptation from book with the same title.
The film is under her production company, Rose and Oaks Media, which she co-owns alongside businessmen Frankie du Toit and Paul Buys. With just six years in existence the company has done extremely well in bringing laughter and joy to South Africans and was also responsible for bringing shows like The Masked Singer SA to mzansi’s tv screens.
Speaking to entertainment publication Citizen news she said, “Our hearts are beaming with pride following the exceptional reception that our film received at the TIFF.”
Meanwhile Anele recently took to Instagram expressing pride in how far they have come while walking the red carpet.
In her post she wrote:
“From walking on the red carpet at the Oscars to walking the red carpet at the Toronto Film Festival, we are nothing if not miracle in motion.”
“Rose and Oaks media is honoured to have been part of this journey that is only about to really kick into gear. They love it! And I am hoping so will you when you get the chance to watch it.”

Anele later revealed that this was a dedication to her dad, Pat Casswell Mdoda.
Sharing more about her experience at the festival, she told IOL that she had an amazing time.
“From making the movies we watched, the people we met, experiencing Canada for the first time. The world film-making industry treats this festival as their head office. Decisions are made here and we are so blessed that we are one of the topics at hand.”
