The DSTV Content Creator Awards are fast approaching and the excitement is unlike anything we’ve seen before. An important aspect of any awards ceremony, is the host, as they are essentially responsible for curating and maintaining the ‘vibe’ and DSTV has selected media personality Anele Mdoda for the honours.
This news comes as no shock to anyone familiar with Anele, as the radio personality’s body of work speaks for itself. She is no stranger to the world of hosting as her career dates back to her days as a co-host on SA’s Got Talent, and she has hosted and been part of the judging panel on Miss SA.
In a joint Instagram post, event organisers and Anele Mdoda shared the exciting news with a creative video, depicting the TV personality as a pilot who will be taking the awards ceremony to new heights from a venue that has never been used before, the Nelson Mandela Square.
“I’m bringing my A-game, and you better be there to witness it. So mark your calendars and book your tickets for the 12th October ‘cause it’s about to go down!” Anele says.
