Anita Lloyd recently opened up about her sense of humour in a sit-down interview wit Rian van Heerden.
The reality TV star had viewers gasping for air with her hilarious and now famous quips and sayings during the first season of the Real Housewives van die Wynlande. In a recent episode of Laataand by Rian on kykNet, she spoke about her time on the show and her unfiltered way of speaking.
Week after week, Anita Lloyd left viewers of the Real Housewives van die Wynlande dying of laughter with her straightforward interviews.
“I am hilarious. I die laughing at myself,” she told Rian during the candid interview.
Despite the fact that the once outspoken housewife acted meek and “conservative” during the reunion episodes, she told Rian that her coarse language raised some eyebrows once again.
There were many memorable Anita moments on the show however, there was one quote that managed to garner quite a negative response from viewers of the show.
“We all worship Mammon, the god of money. If I didn’t have any money, I’d jump off a building. It’s actually inconceivable to comprehend. No it is the f**cking worst. It’s terrible…it is bad sh*tt,” she said during one of the first episodes of the series.
She then explained and clarified to Rian that the comment was part of a larger conversation about wealth.
“I didn’t mean Boyce, and I serve Mammon. I actually referred to our six housewives. Each of us spoke about how important money is to us and why not,” she said.
Having already apologised for the comment, the reality TV star went on to state that she feels the comment created this false perception of how she lives.
“In my mind, I did not mean it as if I was ‘f**cking next level’ in terms of wealth. We worked very hard and sacrificed a lot,” Anita added.
