The world first got to see South African amputee dancer Musa Motha in 2023 when he entered and reached the finals of Britain’s Got Talent (BGT), wowing judges who could not stop praising him for his bravery and proving that nothing was impossible with the right frame of mind.
Not only did Musa impress the judges at BGT but he made history by getting the first-ever group golden buzzer.
Fast forward to now, Musa entered America’s Got Talent (AGT), this time receiving a golden buzzer from executive producer and judge Simon Cowell, sending him straight through to the semifinals.
A golden buzzer from Simon is a big deal as he is popular for his unfiltered critic.
Before pressing the golden buzzer, Simon commented:
“Musa, we met in the UK. I’ll never forget the very first time I saw him. It was one of those moments where you just go like, I will never ever forget that. There’s something so amazing about you and just everyone, I would look around, they were captivated.”
He went on to add:
“I don’t think the final would be the same without you, I want to give you a little hand,” and proceeded to press the golden buzzer.
Taking to his social media to share his proud second time golden buzzer moment, Musa posted pictures of himself on stage, capturing his post.
“We did it again. Mr. Double Golden Buzzer. @oprah once said – “I’ve come to believe that each of us has a personal calling that’s as unique as a fingerprint and that the best way to succeed is to discover what you love and then find a way to offer it to others in the form of service, working hard and also allowing the energy of the universe to lead you.”
