Following the recent celebrations of love and unity, mzansi woke up to shocking news that yet another famous South African couple’s marriage has come to an end.
Retired Proteas batsman, JP Duminy, and his wife Sue have recently shared statements that they have decided to call an end to their 12-year marriage.
Taking to Instagram, JP wrote: “After much consideration, Sue and I have decided to part ways. We were fortunate to have shared many memorable moments together during our marriage and blessed with two daughters. At this time, we kindly ask for privacy as we navigate this transition.”
While the couple did not reveal the details that led to their separation, both have highlighted that they continue to remain good friends and that their separation is amicable. “Thank you for understanding and support during this time. Much love, JP and Sue,” he concluded.
The news of their marriage comes at a time when many have been questioning whether they were still together. This comes after the two have recently unfollowed one another on social media and also posted fewer pictures with one another in recent months.
