After a lengthy hiatus from the music and entertainment industry, the Kwaito artist Kabelo Mabalane has revealed some exciting news which had many of his followers in a frenzy.
In a recent post shared on Instagram, the Pantsula For Life hitmaker officially announced his return to music.
In a short caption, he wrote: “Back in the kitchen! New music loading…”
A video attached to the post shows him joining forces with a number of well-known artists in music today, some of who includes JR, JazziQ and Reason.
He later also thanked all those involved in the process of supporting him on this journey.
While his countless awards speak volumes about the success he had as an artist, he has revealed that he will not be relying on past success to propel himself going forward.
“I’m approaching this like a new artist because old trophies don’t count,” he concluded.

Known for his vibrant spirit and outstanding vocals, Kabelo Mabalane is a name most South Africans have grown accustomed to hearing during the early 2000s.
He was best known as one of the prominent members of the singing boy band TKzee. Meanwhile, his solo career was a big success, after he released multiple hits some of which included songs like Zonke and Reverse Yomhlaba.
However, he later took a break from the entertainment scene to focus on his spiritual growth.
This ultimately led to him answering his spiritual calling by becoming ordained as a pastor and later becoming a spiritual mentor to several big names in music such as Kiernan “AKA” Forbes as well as Black Coffee.
Kabelo who is also happily married to the Blood and Water actress Gail Mabalane has always been open about the sinful lifestyle he lived while being a young musician.
Last year he took to social media to celebrate 21 years of sobriety.
