Some of us went out of our way to show love and appreciation to our moms this Mother’s Day, we wanted them to sit down and enjoy the day as we prepared everything ourselves.
However, this was not the case for every mom out there, some still needed to go and work even if it was a Sunday.
A video shared by South African songwriter, rapper, and businessman Siyabonga Nene professionally known as Big Zulu touched a lot of people. In the video, Big Zulu is in the car talking to a lady who is a street vendor, because it was raining she had taken cover under her table.
The Imali Eningi stopped his car and called out to the lady asking her why is she sleeping, he then proceeded to say, “Count and tell me how much are all of those buckets so that I can buy all of them so you can go home because it is Mother’s Day. count everything and tell me the price.”
The lady replied by saying she did not know how much the price was so Big Zulu asked her to calculate.
He shared the video on his Instagram and captioned it, “Happy Mother’s Day Dadwethu (my sister) ngijike endleleni ngibona losisi for mina to post le video ngeke waz ukuth uban obhekile but ukuzama ukusiza kungenzeka ngith ngiyabuya ngithole sebemfakele indawo eright yokuthengisa (I made a u-turn when I saw this lady, for me to post this video is because you never know who is watching maybe by the time I come back someone would have built her a better stand).”
