Last month the 47-year-old’s management announced that he was involved in a plane accident which left him hospitalised. At the time he was expected to perform at a gig in Argentina, however, following the incident, those plans have been cancelled.
“Black Coffee was involved in a severe travel accident on a flight en route to his scheduled show in Mar Del Plata. The incident resulted in unforeseen complications and left him with some injuries,” this was shared in a press statement at the time.
Meanwhile, he recently showed that he is making steady progress. This was after he and his son made an appearance at the 2024 annual State of the Nation Address, which was held in Cape Town.
Despite being constrained by the wearing of a neck brace he appeared to be close to his usual self and is expecting to entertain local and international crowds in the near future.
