The June issue of BONA Magazine proudly presents a celebration of youth and innovation by featuring five South African disruptors who are leaving an indelible mark on the digital landscape. With their unwavering determination and passion, Chad Jones, Khanyisa Jeceni, Sipo Alphi Mkhwanazi, Lerato Nxumalo and Boitshwarelo Moaneno (better known as Lady PoGba) have emerged as the cover stars for BONA Magazine’s June issue, symbolising the untapped potential and transformative power of South African youth.
TikTok and BONA partnered up to organise an unforgettable cover reveal party, bringing influencers together under one roof. The highly anticipated cover reveal took place at the luxurious Hyde Hotel’s SKYE Rooftop Bar, nestled in the vibrant coastal suburb of Sea Point, Cape Town, providing the perfect backdrop for the evening. To kick off the event, guests were treated to welcome drinks, crafted into refreshing cocktails courtesy of KWV’s 10-year brandy, while eagerly awaiting the unveiling of the magazine cover.
Enjoying their cocktails and being greeted with an array of canapes, the air buzzed with excitement as TikTok influencers and creators mingled together, capturing moments of anticipation and sharing their enthusiasm with their followers. As the moment drew closer, our cover stars revealed themselves, dressed in the latest trendy ensembles by The FIX, while guests took the opportunity to mingle with them.
Thereafter, celebratory toasts were made, thanks to Pongracz champagne. The magazine cover was finally revealed and was met with an electric atmosphere, creating an unforgettable night.

Towards the end of the night, guests were treated with a sneak peek of a BONA competition to stand a chance to win a R1500 voucher from The FIX as well as unforgettable goodie bags.
The goodie bags were filled with an array of carefully-selected and exquisite luxury items – from the enticing Jimmy Choo I Want You Forever fragrance to the elegant timepieces by Rivalry watches thanks to S Bacher, it all exuded sophistication and style. Wine from Robertsons Wines and the tantalising combination of Clemengold gin samples paired with dried Clemengold fruit surely delighted our guests.
Yardley lip glosses, lip balms from Simply Bee, African Extracts day cream sachets, OPI nail polish, Wella Professionals hair oil from Modern Hair and Beauty, along with Cantu shampoo and conditioner sachets from Sunpac provided beauty essentials for guests to pamper themselves with. The inclusion of Mycro Keratin’s goodie bags, toiletry bags, hair oil sachets, and scalp brushes will enhance our guests’ self-care routines. Completing the collection of goodies were probiotics from Rawbiotics, and vitamin C supplements by NutriPure, emphasising the importance of holistic well-being and self-care.
