The World Sports Betting Cape Town MET has become one of the most exciting fashion, lifestyle, and entertainment events in Cape Town. This is no small feat considering the mother city’s recent rise as one of the must-see cities for many worldwide.
After much anticipation, the MET is finally here. Although the fashion show and horse racing aspect of the event brings about some much-needed excitement and buzz, it wouldn’t be the same if we weren’t on the lookout for some of our favourite faces.
Maps Maponyane
Nothing makes more sense than a man of Maps Maponyane’s calibre attending a fashion-centred event such as the MET, as the eye candy has proven to be quite the fashionista and style wizard. His deconstructed fit he donned was a nod to the base of any outfit, which begins with simplicity, attention to detail and of course, personal style.
Nomuzi Mabena
The Skhanda Queen came ready to impress with a crocheted ensemble that embodies every aspect of the word couture. The headpiece sealed the deal, pulling together the entire outfit and placing her as a front-runner for one of the best-dressed.
K.O and Zingah
This unofficial duo showed up together and represented the men pretty spectacularly as they donned matching black and white ensembles that uniquely spoke to the distinctive personalities that their fans have grown to know and love.
Thabsie
As expected, Thabsie did not disappoint with an Athenkosi piece that comes in her and every girly girl’s favourite colour: pink! Although she is predominantly known for her music, Thabsie has become one to look out for in the fashion and styling industry as her looks tend to give fashionista!
Sphokuhle N
One thing Sphokuhle will do is show up to an event looking her best self, and today was no different as the emerging superstar donned a green ensemble that had us at a loss for words, for once. She has definitely established herself as one to look out for as far as serving looks is concerned.
