Somizi Mhlongo’s Instagram live sessions are always fun, educational and funny, leaving his followers wanting more each time.

His followers got to hear his opinion after watching the controversial Netflix original reality series, Young Famous & African. This also comes after Bonang’s followers felt that other cast members were the reason why Queen B pulled out of the show.

In a video clip of the Instagram live that has since been posted on TikTok, Somizi shares:

“Khanyi would say things that we think about but are not brave enough to say, for instance, she spoke about Bonang, saying that Bonang is not used to being in a room of people that are of her level.”

“She was attacked for that by Bonang’s fans, fair enough, however, the thing is with fans, when your fans are your fans, they don’t even think you could do wrong.”

“The are times when fans have to be human beings, use their brains, because when they attacked Khanyi, they were now attacking her saying who does she think she is, what is she famous for?”

The flamboyant media personality added:

“Khanyi has done very well for herself, let’s not get that twisted. The reason why she’s on that show means she’s done very well, just because what she does is not in your line …. or you’re not her fan does not make her unsuccessful.”

“She is very successful, she is extremely successful, she is doing very well, she’s a great mother, artist, actress.”

The Sarafina! star also added that Bonang’s fans should not downplay Khanyi’s talent and success just because she said something about her that they are not happy with.

Also adding, “When Khanyi said Bonang was uncomfortable because she is not used to being in a place where everyone is her equal or above her that was the truth, she’s not used to that.”

“Have you ever seen Bonang gelling or lasting in relationships where they are on the same level, it’s not in her, she doesn’t operate like that.”

“Does it make it wrong, it doesn’t make it wrong, does it make it right, it doesn’t make it right, … it should, however, not make other people look like they are stupid or that they are jealous of her.”

He also added that there’s no way on earth everyone can be jealous of Bonang and that such a narrative need to stop.
