Bonang Matheba also known as Queen B, cleared speculation of her exit from the Netflix original reality series Young Famous & African, following a brief appearance on the show.
The multi-talented personality, businesswoman and leader of a fan base called the B-Force, got people excited when Netflix released a trailer for season two of Young Famous & African, featuring Bonang. Fans anticipated a lot of opulence, drama and clashes between former friends Nadia Nakai and Bonang.
Fans were also hoping that the reason why the two ladies’ friendship fell would come out, and that, they would in the end kiss and make up.
They were however disappointed and sad that Bonang exited the show coming up with many speculations on possible reasons why she left.
Stylist and socialite Swanky Jerry who introduced Bonang to the group announced that Bonang had exited the WhatsApp group because she felt that everyone was ganging up on her. This shocked many cast members as they didn’t know where that came from.
In an interview with Zimoja, Bonang, however, clarified all the speculations around her exit.
She shared, “I didn’t just leave the show, I was just a guest star and not a permanent cast member. My job was to be in and out.”
Zimoja also noted the love and appreciation Queen B has for her supporters, “I’ll continue building this amazing brand with the help of my supporters who’ve stuck by me through every step,” said Bonang.
Adding, “… BNG has some incredible plans for the future – new brand experiences and products.”
