Bongani Fassie features on Mzansi Magic’s “I blew it”

Social media users got a glimpse of the lavish life that saw Bongani Fassie lose a lot of money when the final episode of Mzansi Magic‘s “I blew it” was aired. The show which has seen five successful seasons, profiles individuals who had millions of rands but blew their money on alcohol, drugs, fast cars, women and many other things.

Mzansi Magic posted a teaser of episode 13 and got many people talking about the singer’s life choices. The teaser’s caption read:

“We wrap up the season like so …  Make sure you catch the #Iblewit season finale tonight at 20:00!”

In the episode the late Brenda Fassie’s only child went to share that he lived in houses where he rented between R19 000 and R70 000 a month. He also shared that he held parties at his homes almost every day and in one of those he met the mother of his two children.

The former Jozi band member also mentioned that alcohol, drugs, mismanagement of funds and lack of financial literacy played a huge role in how he blew almost 15 million rands.

Speaking in one of the diary sessions his uncle mentioned that he blew around 150 000 a day and got to a point where he didn’t visit his family in Cape Town for almost six years.
