Dancer, TV presenter and actress Bontle Modiselle-Moloi has recently received an international nod for KORA Awards under the category of Best Dancer/ Group- Afro Dance.
In this category, Bontle is nominated alongside Tebza Diphehlo who is also from South Africa. The awards which are expected to celebrate excellence and innovation, featuring stunning performances and memorable moments will be held on the 1st of December 2024.
In an interview with The Citizen about her nomination, Bontle said, “It’s a great honour for this category to be introduced for the very first time, and I am a nominee representing South Africa. I think that, for me, is just absolutely brilliant and really beautiful. A great, great, great honour.”
Kora Awards took to their Instagram page to share the list of the nominees for various categories.

Other South African personalities nominated at the KORA Awards are; Tyla, Sho Madjozi, Uncle Waffles, DJ Maphorisa, the late Costa Tich, TitoM and Yuppe.

Recently, Bontle earned a lead role in the eagerly-awaited film; Piano Love. The Black Brain produced film is set to premiere on the 23rd of August on Netflix.
Taking to her Instagram page to share the news, Bontle captioned her post, “Finally, we can share this beautiful story with the world, 23 August 2024, exclusively on Netflix.”
