South African singer Brenda Mtambo will be hosting a show to celebrate her decade-long support for her solo career.
The songstress revealed how she didn’t believe she’d make a decade in the industry. She opened up about surviving and that she feels compelled to celebrate herself and those who carried her
“It is very important to celebrate 10 years as a solo, independent artist. Because it is not easy what we do. Doing what we do requires a lot from us and I’ve learnt it is important to celebrate yourself sometimes,” Brenda said in a video posted on Instagram.
The singer has often thanked the people who have carried and supported her mental health journey.
