Miss SA Universe Bryoni Govender gushed over boyfriend, former Kaizer Chiefs striker Samir Nurkovic.
In an exclusive interview with The South African, Miss SA runner up and Miss Universe SA Bryoni Govender opened up about how supportive her boyfriend is.
“We have been together for some time and he’s just the best. He is very, very supportive of me,” she said.
Bryoni Govender became the Miss SA runner up at the finale of the pageant held at the SunBet Arena, Times Square in Pretoria on Sunday, 13 August.
On 14 August, the Miss Universe organisers announced that Bryoni Govender will be representing South Africa at the pageant set to be held in El Salvador in November via an Instagram Story.
Last week Sunday, the Miss SA runner-up’s boyfriend, footballer Samic Nurkovic, took to Instagram to share how proud he is of his girlfriend, calling her his “queen”.

Following the end of the pageant and becoming the Miss SA runner-up, Bryoni took to Instagram to thank Mzansi for their support.
“I am so incredibly proud of myself. Thank you South Africa for all your support and love ✨,” she captioned the post.

Many other former pageant entries and winners flooded Bryoni’s comment section with sweet little messages.
“Congratulations beautiful queen! ❤️ Such an exciting journey ahead. So excited for you!”, wrote Miss SA 2015 Liesl Laurie-Mtombeni.
“Well done Bryoni! I can’t wait to see what you accomplish next. There will be more❤️,” wrote Miss Universe 2019 Zozi Tunzi.
