South African house musician Bucie Nqwiliso is reportedly on the verge of losing her home.
According to City Press, the Easy to Love hit maker could have her house sold on auction after a financial dispute with a commercial entity following her failure to honour her bond instalments amounting to R1 million.
According to reports, the singer’s Helderkruin, Roodepoort home will be repossessed due non-payment of R1 million; she had to reportedly pay R19 150.49 in monthly instalments.
“The defendant failed to comply with the terms and conditions of the agreement by failing to make monthly instalments as contemplated,” the court papers read as quoted by the publication, adding that her instalment has been in arrears in the amount of R99 550.11 since January this year.
Earlier this year, Daily Sun reported Bucie’s financial crisis, as she was also unable to make a full payment of her car.
She had reportedly bought her 2016 Volkswagen Amarok 2.0 BiTDi for R766 958,40 and was expected to pay R10 651.25,70 in monthly instalments. The car was repossessed and later sold for R218 500.00.
Many took to social media to sympathise with the singer saying that this is the reality of many South Africans. Some are positive that she will bounce back should she return to music. This is what some tweeps had to say:
This is not news, this is life in South Africa, may Bucie recover and make a huge return with even more propeties and a huge financial bouceback?
