With Easter season approaching, TV presenters Khaya Mthethwa and Candice Modiselle will host an Easter special gospel show, by the name of 1 Gospel, and will only air on the 18th of April.
The Urban Brew studios produced a gospel show that airs annually, and will be a two-hour show where gospel artists will be featured to perform.
Khaya is a pastor, a gospel singer and composer, he is no stranger to presenting Gospel shows, as he hosted a number of them, which include Mzansi Magic’s Gospel Alive, BET’s Rhythm and Gospel and SABC1’s Gospel Avenue.
He is popular for winning IdolsSA season 8 and has also released a number of Gospel chart toppers such as Mkhulumsebenzi, Luvela Kuwe and Ushilo Wena, among others.
Candice is also no stranger in the presenting industry, she first rose to fame when she presented YoTv, she grew in the industry and presented Battle of the Bridesmaids. She also showcased her acting skills on Generations: The Legacy and Impilo: The Scam. Candice was recently baptised and she describes herself as a new creation in Christ, and has not looked back ever since. On the day of her baptism, she said: “This public declaration confirms that I know who I am and I dedicate my life to helping young people discover that they too are fearfully and wonderfully made, set apart, loved, called and chosen as the righteous sons and daughters of the Almighty.”
Entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela, took to his X (former Twitter page) to share the news.
