One of the spookiest days on the calendar was upon us as many celebrated Halloween on 31 October.
While Halloween may not be an actual celebration in South Africa, this does not in any way stop our celebrities from going all out and creeping us out with their costumes on their social media platform.
Surprisingly, our Mzansi celebrities were beyond creative as they mimicked some of their all-time favorite international icons.
Here are a few of them who went all out and celebrated Halloween.
Kairo Forbes:
The 8-year-old-daughter of the late South African award-winning rapper AKA and South African deejay and businesswoman DJ Zinhle rocked the social media awards as Wednesday. Kairo went all out as she rocked a wig with a fringe and two ponytails along with a black dress and boots.

DBN Gogo:
This South African deejay and producer took the meaning of spooky to another level. She took the theme a top notch as she centered her entire photo shoot a ghostly nightmare inspired Halloween theme. DBN Gogo appeared as Jack Skellinghton, and further had a background of what appeared as bats flying from the moon.

Linda Mtoba:
Somewhat reminding us of Casper the friendly ghost was daughter of South African actress Linda Mtoba. The actress and her daughter were a ghostly family as they were covered in all white with only their eyes showing. This effortless look was made a tad bit scarier by them choosing to capture their photo shoot outside in a tree.

Uncle Waffles:
Scary but not quite spooky, the ‘Princess of amapiano’ took to Instagram to share images of her parody inspired shoot as international stars, Nicki Minaj and Justin Bieber. She further shared in her caption that Halloween is nothing but an excuse to dress us and that she would definitely do it again.
