Former Miss South Africa contestant Chidimma Adetshina has clapped back at online critics following their comments on a TikTok video of her bonding with her father.
The 23-year-old model made headlines last year after the public condemned her participation in the national beauty pageant. This comes after it was revealed that Chidimma comes from a family with a diverse heritage, with a father who is Nigerian and a mother of Mozambican descent.
After suffering much public scrutiny, she eventually exited the pageant.
While she was later given a lifeline to compete in both Miss Nigeria and Miss Universe, this has not stopped the Department of Home Affairs from doing an investigation into her family history, where it was discovered that her mother acquired citizenship through identity theft.
While the case is still ongoing, the Miss Universe runner-up recently took to TikTok where she shared a clip of her gracefully bonding with her father, Michael.

While the video was created with no harm intended, online users quickly rushed to the comment section to react to the current investigations done on her family.
One user asked, “Is this how Miss Universe Nigeria acts? What a shame speaking to people like you do.” Chidimma responded, “One thing about me: I’ll come for you and your generation. I’m not the one!”
To another user, she wrote: “Nigerians will always be better, and that’s why you’re bitter.”
When another user enquired about whether she would consider doing a “tell all” – to give viewers her version of events, she replied saying, “Definitely”.
