Busisiwe Twala, known by many as Cici, took to her social media to express her excitement after Thula, a song by DJ Zinhle that she is featured on, returned to music streaming platforms iTunes and Apple Music after it was taken off.
Released this year on July 7, the song had been doing very well on all music streaming platforms before its removal from the two platforms.
DJ Zinhle announced the news on X (formerly Twitter), stating:
“I’m exhausted…. I don’t know why #Thula is not available on Apple Music & iTunes. We are figuring it out. Never had to fight so much for a song ay… It’s available on other platforms.”
Soon after, the song was returned to iTunes and Apple Music. An excited Cici shared a video of herself walking down a corridor with Thula playing in the background, captioning it:
“#SetUsFree On my way to tell you all that Thula is back on iTunes and Apple Music. I’ll tell you guys what happened later. But all I can say is artists go through a lot man?????So please make sure you stream and download our song. Officially available on digital platforms.”
