South African veteran actress Connie Chiume’s foundation has launched “Essence of South Africa.”
The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever actress took to her social media where she revealed the exciting news she wrote:
“The Connie Chiume Foundation CCF is thrilled to launch “Essence of South Africa,” arts and cultural exchange program that will take place on the sidelines of the highly anticipated Essence Festival of Culture in New Orleans this June!”
She continued by explaining in detail how the project came to be saying:
“With the support of the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture, New Orleans Mayor’s Office, NOSACCON, ESSENCE OF SOUTH AFRICA will host its various activities at the prestigious New Orleans Jazz Museum! This cultural exchange program aims to celebrate diversity, create a sustainable platform and empower women within the arts business,” she wrote.
The actress also revealed that she is set to travel in New Orleans.

The actress recently celebrated 46 years being in the entertainment industry and she marked her 46th year anniversary with a series of workshops around the country.
The Gomora actress held her workshop in hope to inspire young people who aspire to become actors or actresses. She took to her Instagram timeline to announce the workshop and what people should expect from the program.
