The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards is set to air on Wednesday, 13 September at 02:00 am SAST, and will be held at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
In other nomination news, late rappers AKA and Costa Titch have bagged nominations for the African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA). The award ceremony is set to take place on 17 September 2023 in Dallas, Texas, just a few days after the VMAs.
AKA scored one nomination for Best Male Southern Africa while Costa scored three nominations under the categories Best Male Southern Africa, Best Collaboration for Shetani and Video of the Year.
