It seems that actress and DJ Pearl Thusi is under fire for throwing her bestie DJ Zinhle under the bus after an X (formerly known as Twitter) user asked for donations.
One thing about social media is that internet users will always come for you if you are a public figure with an opinion. However, it may seem that Pearl can never catch a break from users as she is constantly making headlines for the things she says.
Distraught X user @siviwe_matroos recently took to the app to share that her two sons are struggling to get back into school due to her failure to pay school fees. When users asked why the children aren’t moved to government schools, the user responded by saying that because it was the third term it would be difficult to change schools as it is so late in the year.
The mother’s cry for help caused Pearl to respond with the caption, “Send the school name and account details. So we can verify. I will contribute. @DJZinhle let’s spilt it babe?” This response caused many internet users to feel that Pearl had no reason to add her bestie’s name in something she said she would do.
Send the school name, account details… so we can verify.
I’ll make a contribution. @DJZinhle let’s split it babe? https://t.co/srgtS4Zwrf— Pearl Thusi (@PearlThusi) September 5, 2024
Taking to X users shared their thoughts on Pearl’s public stunt by calling out her friend.
One user said;
Hawu manje why is Zinhle in it and being now publicly under duress to agree to this publicly? Weird!
