Media personality and businesswoman, Dineo Ranaka has recently shared another instalment of her hair progress, after undergoing hair transplantation.
The Sip and Talk host revealed earlier that she had her hair restoration at the Sandton hair transplant clinic, prompted by her receding hairline and hair thinning. Dineo also revealed that the procedure may take four to six weeks to be fully completed.
Recently, the radio broadcaster took to her Instagram page to keep her followers updated on her hair progress. Captioning her post: “Hair transplant procedure update.”
In the caption, she said that at this stage, the little hair that started growing in the first 10 days after the procedure has started to fall out. She also revealed that at this point, her hair follicles require growth stimulation treatment for solid results to start showing, and she cannot skip treatment for six months, for amazing results.

Dineo shared that in two to three weeks after the hair transplant, the transplanted hair is expected to fall out and then the new hair will begin to grow after three months of the transplant, even though the results may still be moderate.
After six months of the hair transplant, noticeable improvement with good results may start to appear. A year after the transplant is considered the last stage, and that is when ideal results are usually achieved.
Earlier, Dineo shared that excessive sweating is not encouraged before 21 days into the procedure, as it tempers with the process. However, she said she was given a leeway to train, as long as she did not sweat.
Recently, she took to her Instagram page to share her workouts and food that compliments it.
