The number one female deejay in Africa and mother of two Ntombezinhle “DJ Zinhle” Jiyane recently took to her social media platforms in search of someone to teach her and her oldest daughter Kairo how to cook.
In the past on her reality show, The Unexpected, the multi-business owner shared her cooking inabilities, going as far as stating that she loves a good meal but has no interest in cooking. She also shared how grateful she was for Zama who runs her home and prepares meals for them.
While visiting Somizi Mhlongo’s television cooking show, Dinner at Somizi’s with close friend Pearl Thusi, the Umlilo hitmaker also shared that she worries that her only daughter at that time Kairo would never be able to taste her mother’s cooking as she didn’t know how to.
Well, things have changed now, and the deejay is now a married mother of two, singing a different tune when it comes to her interest in the kitchen. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, Mrs Mohosana shared:
“If you offer cooking lessons, let me know. I’d need to learn from the comfort of my own home though. Kairo and I will learn together.”

Internet users recommended who they thought would be a good instructor while potential cooking instructors marketed themselves.

Others found humour in the post, calling for former Minister of Finance Tito Mboweni to try his luck as he is popular on the social network for his “interesting” cooking skills.
