Veteran DJ, producer and businesswoman Ntombezinhle Jiyane, more affectionately known as DJ Zinhle left a lasting impression after hosting her ZeeNation festival.
The event, carefully planned and curated by the DJ herself was an ode to the impactful 20 years of consistency and longevity in the music industry. Situated at the Johannesburg Expo Centre, the festival coincided with Women’s Day.
Taking to her social media with a heartfelt message of gratitude was the DJ. She thanked her supporters for showing up for her and to let them know that she will be back next year for a second edition of the festival.
“Hey Bestie…You really are my bestie! I am so grateful for your faith in meβ¦ WE DID IT BESTIE, thank you so much for showing up for me yesterday. I love you. See you next year.”

Attendees of the festival also wasted no time taking to their social media to convey how impressed they were with the overall event, from the entertainment to the preparedness and cleanliness of the available amenities. Renowned rapper Big Zulu among those who expressed their admiration for the artist for her ability to host such an event of that calibre.
“Siyabonga kakhulu Sis wam @djzinhle sibe nosuku olumnandi sithembe nabantu bathokozile, beku kuhle Kumnandi kakhulu,” the rapper says, which translates to ” Thank you so much my sister, we had an amazing day and we hope the people did too. Your event was beautiful and so much fun.
