For a lot of artists, music has always been a means of communicating with fans and sharing their narratives.

Train of Love, the album in question represented this in so many ways for Donald Moatshe as it completely changed his life for the better making it a significant turning point in his growth as an artist at the time.

To be able to make an album that speaks to anybody who has ever experienced love and loss. It is a reflection of the development, challenges, and victories that shape each of us.

“So many feelings and mixed emotions, what a ride it has been,” he shared in one Instagram post, reflecting on the success that the particular album has brought him.

According to YouthVillage, “Singles for the album, I Deserve, Denial, and Over the Moon got a good reception. I Deserve topped the RAMs Top 100 & Top 40 charts and entered the Top 10 on the Media Guide charts. The success of the album brought him much attention, making him a celebrity. Donald made appearances on shows such as Rhythm City, 3Talk with Noeleen, MTV Base and Vuzu. Over the Moon also became a well-known song in Africa at large.”
