Award-winning actress and clothing label owner Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa recently hosted her Essie Apparel collection stand-alone fashion show, where she showcased her clothing and swimwear collection.
The show took place in Johannesburg this past weekend attracting attendance from entertainment industry giants such as Mome Mahlangu, Shauwn Mkhize and many more.
Enhle first launched her Essie Apparel label in 2020 at SA Fashion Week. She went on to win her first international award for best designer collection at the Fashion Community Week, in San Francisco, USA.
Taking to her social media to appreciate special moments from the show, Enhle started by sharing her favourite moment at the end of the show where businesswoman and reality TV star Shauwn Mkhize gave her a larger-than-normal size champagne to celebrate the show’s success.
She captioned her post:
“This past weekend I hosted my first stand-alone fashion show. As you saw my stories feed was buzzing. This week Iβll let you in on all the festivities. Starting with my favourite moment at the end of the show when @kwa_mammkhize brought a well sized bottle of @moetchandon to celebrate the shows success.π€π€ The crowd had got up from their seat in celebration and the models were well in dance mode had to move from the crowd and cameras or it was gonna be a wet mess π.”

Upon seeing the post, Shauwn Mkhize who had donned a lime green lower back Essie Apparel garment responded to the post sharing:
“My babe thank you for trusting me with your WORK and congratulations ππΎ πͺπΎπ₯π.”
One of the models also commented on the post, thanking and congratulating Mbali on the success of her show, she added:
“Congratulations you did it π. And that outfit β¦looked amazing on you π₯π₯π₯thank you so much for choosing me as one of your models I am grateful.”
Other social media users appreciated Shauwn’s love and support to others in the industry, sharing :
“@kwa_mammkhize is the real sikhukhukazi(hen) sooo humble, sipportive, caring, generous. I have been watching how she gives it all to support young women. This woman amazes me as most rich people are unapproachable but in her case she goes all out to support other women and she does not choose. Mamkhize we see you.”
