Congratulations are in order! Springbok scrumhalf Faf de Klerk and his wife Miné officially welcomed their daughter into the world.
The couple shared the news in a joint Instagram post, just a week after Miné gave birth on 27 February.
Pictures show the two-time World Cup winning champion and his pharmacist wife filled with joy as they exited the delivery room.
Laying on top of Miné’s chest was the newly born Remi-Ré De Klerk, weighing 2,85 kilograms and being just 48 centimetres in length.
In the caption they wrote: “We love you (along with a heart emoji).”

Later, both Springbok wags as well as supporters took to the comment section to congratulate the new parents.
Another soon-to-be mother, Marise, who is the wife of Handre Pollard, wrote: “Yay! I cannot wait to meet her.”
Also entering the comments was Anlia Etzebeth, the wife of Eben writing: “Yay! Welcome little one…”
Faf, real name Francois and his wife are one of several couples who have either welcomed, or are soon to be welcoming their little ones into the world following their 2023 success at the world cup.
