The legacy of Solly Moholo is set to live on through the release of his last album titled, Wubabni O zo Pepeza.
The family of the legendary gospel singer recently attended a media briefing in which they addressed the public, confirming that they have plans to honour Solly’s final wishes by treating his fans to the release of his posthumous album.
The late singer who passed away on 2 October this year appeared to be extremely excited to share the upcoming fans with his most loved and devoted followers. This has seen him travel to Botswana where he planned to promote this latest work ahead of the official launch.
Unfortunately, the pre-celebrations have been short-lived as it was here where he fell ill and was rushed to hospital, ultimately leading to his passing weeks later.
Speaking at the briefing his family urges him to continue supporting the late musician by streaming his music.
“Solly Moholo records and completed his last album Wubani O zo Pepza, which was set to be released before his untimely passing. One of his final wishes was that the album be released.”
“To honour his final wish, the Molokoane family would like the album release to continue. We are going to make sure his legacy lives forever.”
Meanwhile, it was further reported that the funeral of the late Solomon Molokoane will be held at Akasia Hall in Pretoria on the 12th of October, while the album will officially be released on the 11th, a day before his final departure from the world.
