It was a week filled with celebrations for World Cup winning star Cheslin Kolbe.
The 30-year-old celebrated his milestone birthday on the 28th of October – the exact same day as the Rugby World Cup final in France.

While the feeling of capping a wonderful day off with a gold medal is something to boast about, there’s no better celebration than being surrounded by loved ones. This past weekend Cheslin skipped the Durban and Eastern Cape leg of the trophy tour to spend some much-needed time with close family and friends following an entire months absence (due to his Springbok commitments), to officially celebrate his 30th birthday.
Celebrations were held at the Villa Zevenbosch venue in Stellenbosch, Cape Town.
Staying true to Cheslin’s love for fast cars, the theme was “Fast and the Furious” with an all-black attire.
The occasion, which was organised by Moerat Events, epitomised his style and personality in every sense and captured some significant details such as his Springbok number, which was illuminated on the patio, as well as the tires found in the background, which symbolised his love for cars and speed.
In attendance were several familiar faces including old friends, Stormers centre Juan de Jongh and Kurt Coleman.
