Mzansi Magic drama series, Queen Modjadji, premiered with celebrities showcasing their fashion ahead of the series airing on the broadcast channel.

The drama series is set to tell the story of a Limpopo-based Queen believed to have the power to control clouds and rainfall, featuring a stellar cast such as: Makoma Mohale, Masutang Rasekel, Helen Lebepe, Thabo Bopape, Shudufhadzo Musida, Ndavi Nokeri, Muthanoni Mulalo, Khensani, Putla Sehlapelo, Mudi Mudau, and Priscilla Raboroko.

Many celebrities and cast members gathered at the premiere event dressed in stunning traditional attire with some dressed in gorgeous gowns. Here are the looks:

 

1. Nomzamo Mbatha

Shaka iLemebe star Nomzamo Mbatha attended the event dressed in a stunning white dress.

 

2. Zintle Mofokeng

Big Brother Mzansi season 4 Sya’Mosha contestant Zintle, also known as Zee wore a red traditional bodycon dress at the premiere.

3. Nirvana Nokwe

Actress Nirvana Nokwe kept it short and sweet in a white mini-dress.

 

4. Lethabo Lejoy Mathatho

The Real Housewives of Johannesburg star Lethabo wore a very interesting black dress pairing it with a cape.

 

5. Makoma Mohale

Makoma Mohale who plays Queen Modjadji in the drama series wore a blue dress with shells which represent the ocean given that the queen controlled rainfalls.

 

6. Hope Rasekele

Cast member Hope Rasekele wore a turquoise traditional dress pairing it with traditional accessories.

 

7. Tshepo ‘Makhekhe’ Tau

Sya’Mosha runner-up Makhekhe represented the Sotho culture in his traditional blanket and hat.

 

7. Wiseman Zitha

Cast member Wiseman who plays Mamila in the drama series stole the show in a matching chic set.
