While her husband DJ Tira continues to set the bar when it comes to the music industry, his wife Gugu Khathi has been inspiring thousands of South African women in her own right, and this women’s month the journey continues.
Gugu will soon host her annual High Tea Party in honour of Women’s Day on the 9th of August. The day marks the 17th year of the event’s existence after first being established in 2007.
Due to the overwhelming amounts of support across the years, it has become an event that many have been marking off as “booked” on their yearly calendar.
This year’s Victorian theme will celebrate “Women of Influence”, with special guests including Happy Simelane and Onezwa Mbola.
