We are always advised to take care of our mental health and to choose things and people who make us happy so that we have a peaceful life. South African comedian and actress Tumi Morake reveals that for her, it was comedy that saved her sanity.
The 41-year-old media personality is one of the celebrities who is participating on LOL: Last One Laughing South Africa, a comedy show hosted by the award-winning comedian, Trevor Noah.
Taking to Instagram, Tumi shared a post where she expressed her feelings about comedy while she was in Amsterdam. She mentioned that comedy did not only save her sanity but her life in general.
She added in her caption that if it wasn’t for the mask, red nose and the clown to restrain her demons to administrate the laughing gas in her, she does not know where she would be.
“I am holding onto that clown suit for dear life,” Tumi concluded.
