After proclaiming his love for God and speaking openly about his faith on social media, rapper and born-again Christian Cassper Nyovest returned to his platform to state that he has let bygones be bygones.
The Siyathandana rapper, whose real name is Refiloe Phoolo, shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) that he used to fight a lot on the app and wanted to make people feel the pain they inflicted on him.
“I wanted to belittle them. I realised that there’s no point,” said Cassper, who then provided reasons for the actions being pointless.
“1. It doesn’t please God. 2. It doesn’t take my insecurities away. 3. They are God’s children too, they might be lost, bitter and mean but he loves them too.”
The rapper concluded his post, saying, “So, to anyone throwing jabs and comments at me, I forgive you all. I love you and I pray God softens your heart so you feel for us. We are people! I know we look like superheroes but we are just human beings and we hurt, just like you. I know this tweet isn’t going to change anything, but it’s just the energy I want to put out. I seek to please God, ONLY! More love !!! Less maragaraga!!!
