South African songwriter and singer, Dumi Mkokstad, made a new song to thank his supporters for having his back for 23 years.
Dumi’s career started when he was 9 years old, where he began singing praise and worship songs. In 2003, he released his first song, Nang’uJesu, while in 2014, he released an album called Mbize uJehova.
The Pietermaritzburg-born artist continued to make his way to the top, working with Blaq Diamond, releasing a song called Messiah, as well as the choir NUZ Voices of Joy.
Taking to Instagram, Dumi posted a video of his new song, explaining that it is his appreciation to his supporters for the undying love and support they have been giving him. He also added that they will hear the song for free.
He captioned his post:
“I MADE A SONG FOR YOU AND YOU WILL HAVE IT FOR FREE. THANK YOU FOR 23 YEARS OF SUPPORT ❤️🎤.”
