She commented:
“I think I had seen him on his way to do it. I had woken up, my bedroom was closest to the kitchen. I woke up and went to see what my father was doing and he had stuff with him. He had a rope but I didn’t think anything of it, its in the wee hours of the morning so I’m not going to question him or anything like that.
The dancer added that all her father kept on saying was “I love you, I love you, just know that I love you”.
She continued:
“We wake up in the morning, it’s very strange for my mom not to see her husband but you know we could feel that something was wrong, so my mom was not ok, she felt that something was off. She couldn’t find my dad, we lived in a fairly big house at that time, she looked everywhere and couldn’t find him.
Telling the story while teary ran down her beautiful face, Bontle shared that he mom peeped through a door key hole and saw her husband hanging from a tree.
She shared that her media personality sister Refiloe was the one who had the bravery to cut him off the tree while her mother who was utterly devastated had gone off.
