The highly anticipated upcoming telenovela Inimba, which will soon take over from Empini on Mzansi Magic, has released its trailer, which served as a teaser to viewers, leaving them more intrigued about the storyline.

The trailer includes a soothing voice-over by award-winning actress Brenda Ngxoli, who narrates the story of Zoleka Mabandla, who had it all: a new family, a promising career, and a dream job offering she found difficult to refuse. Later, her husband, Hlathi, forced her to choose between her ambition and their family, and Zoleka made the ultimate sacrifice.

After 20 years, Zoleka, who has now built her career and is a tech mogul, comes back to claim her life and the daughter that she lost, Qhawe, but she finds it hard to move from the past, as she learns that the past doesn’t let go that easily.

Thespians such as Andrea Dondolo, Sisa Hewana, Lunathi Mampofu, Zenande Mfenyana, Nasiphi Ntabeni and many more will soon grace the screens of mzansi’s television set while they unpack what promises to be a captivating story. The trailer reveals the themes of love and sacrifice in showing Zoleka making a sacrifice of leaving her family and newborn child while she pursues her career. She later comes back to form the love and bond that she has missed with her daughter, who will be portrayed by Ayakha Ntunja.
